Irish-based company Eishtec are creating 320 new customer service jobs in Craigavon, Co Armagh.

'Eishtec is an outsourced contact centre providing tailored solutions to businesses,' that focus on customer support.

During the next three years, they'll be hiring up to 320 staff for a new centre opening in Northern Ireland.

Eishtec already have offices in Wexford and Waterford, employing nearly 1,100 staff. They provide customer and sales services, analytics and technical support to the UK Mobile network operator EE.

Eishtec’s Operational Director, Colm Tracey said: “The impetus to set up a third customer service centre was through increased demand from our core client, EE. However, our objective is to significantly expand our customer base and the Craigavon site will also service other clients and play a vital role as we diversify and grow our business.”

Northern Ireland’s Enterprise Minister, Arlene Foster, said: “When the new jobs are in place, they will generate over £5.5million in salaries. There are a variety of roles, including management and team leader positions. They will offer excellent training and employment opportunities to a wide range of people, from those with experience in customer service to school leavers and the unemployed.”
